Asian (anything) famous is pretty amazing and Penang seems to be a great stepping stone for much of the rest of the continent - and Japan is bound to call any day now. And the 5traits Times is read in the UK, too, I believe, though mainly by retired military chaps with large handlebar moustaches, reminiscing about the old days at Raffles. My stpe-daughter was in Hanoi (among most of the rest of that part of Asia) and she go back in an instant. Mind you she wasn't singing there (just as well, if you heard her voice) and was only there for a few days. It's a country I've always wanted to get to, too - another candidate for the round the world list. Anyway, you must be doing something right so make the most of it and enjoy every moment of it!
